Hello! I’m Ashwini R. Kurup, a designer and entrepreneur who loves blending innovation with tradition. With a Bachelor’s degree in Textile Design from NIFT and an MBA in Operations Management, my journey is all about combining sustainable practices with creative excellence.

My career has been a captivating mix of creativity and sustainability. As the founder of The Hand Made Store, I specialize in crafting eco-friendly corporate gifts for clients such as IDBI Bank, MGM Hospital, and the Rotary Club of Navi Mumbai. At Mycel Bioscience Pvt. Ltd., I lead efforts to transform agricultural waste into vegan leather, pushing the boundaries of sustainable fashion. As a Consultant Designer with the All India Artisans and Craftworkers Welfare Association (AIACA), I’m dedicated to empowering artisans by integrating modern design trends with traditional crafts, promoting sustainability and fair trade. Additionally, I enjoy conducting workshops and sessions on textile theory and workshop for fashion students..
